BG: TH South flexes muscles against owen Valley

The TH South Boys Golf team won a dual meet Wednesday at Rolling
Meadows against Owen Valley 141-176.  Thomas Goss led the way for the
Braves with a 33, good enough for medalist honors.  Cory Gertz shot a
35 and Shelby Stewart shot a 36. 

In softball action, TH South defeated West Vigo 12-3.  Marissa
Stout improved to 12-1 on the year with the win.  Macy Toon had 3 hits,
while Shelby Scaminhorn had 2 hits and 5rbis.

BA: TH South drubs South Vermillion

Staff Report

The TH South Braves baseball team defeated South Vermillion 13-7 on
Tuesday night at TH South.  The Braves pounded out 13 hits in the
contest.  Jacob Hayes and Brent Mulvihill led the way with 3 hits,
while Brandon Brock had 2 hits.  The Braves return to action tomorrow
at Danville, IL.

GT: MIC places five teams in first tennis poll of season

It comes as little surprise that the MIC dominates the first
statewide tennis poll of the season. The conference placed five teams in top
fifteen. That includes the Carmel Greyhounds landing in the top spot.

 

The Terre Haute
schools are next on the list for the MIC. South comes in at fifth in the poll
while North is at #7. Center Grove is 11th in the opening survey and
North Central lands at #15..

BA: Terre Haute South splits in annual invitational

 

THS News Burreau

The THS Braves Baseball team went 1-1 in the annual Braves Bash,
beating Munster 11-6, while losing to New Haven 9-6.  In the Munster
game, Jacob Hayes was 2-2 with 2 rbi and 3 runs scored, while AJ Reed
was 2-3 with a HR. 

In the New Haven game, Brent Mulvihill was 2-4 with a HR.

The Braves (1-1) return to action this week with a game Tuesday at
Covington, Wednesday at Vincennes Lincoln, and a Saturday doubleheader
at North Central.
