GBB: Bloomington South throttles Terre Haute South

Staff Report

You can
easily say that Bloomington South passed its first big test with flying colors.
The Panthers dismantled previously unbeaten Terre Haute South 39-21. The Braves
notched only 10 points in the first three quarters of the contest.

Bloomington jumped to a 16-8 lead at the end of
the first quarter before the game came to a grinding halt as far as scoring was
concerned. The second stanza was literally scoreless. Neither team dented the
board with a single tally. However, Bloomington South regained its stride in
the third period posting 14 points on the board. Meanwhile, the frustration continued
for Terre Haute. The Braves managed only two third quarter points. That left
the Panthers with an overwhelming 30-10 lead heading into the final quarter
