The Lady Braves softball team started the 2010 season with a 10-1
road victory over Southmont. Sophmore Marissa Stout pitched 6 innings,
allowing 1 run. Freshman Shelby Scamihorn got the offense going with a
solo shot in her first high school at bat. All nine starters got a hit
with Junior Kaitlyn Pluta getting 3 hits and Senior Kayla Price had 3
RBI’s.
The Lady Braves return to action Monday with a doubleheader at Casey (IL).
