The Terre Haute South Braves salvaged a weekend series by beating Mooresville 80-58.  In Terre Haute South’s first weekend game, Lawrence North capitalized on some shaky Braves’ defense and won 99-72.  Terre Haute South hit 20 three point field goals in the contest, but Lawrence North proved to be too strong offensively.  Anthony McGill and Gary Ulrich led the Braves with 18 points each.

McGill also led Terre Haute South in the Mooresville game, scoring a game high 22 points.  Jay Turner scored 18 points against Mooresville and Ike Worrell added 16.  Lem Young also scored in double figures with 13 points.  The Braves will resume play on Friday when they travel to Center Grove.  Terrre Haute South also plays again on Saturday when they host Evansville Reitz.
