Staff Report
There were
not a lot of surprises in Tuesday night’s girls sectionals and that means the
powerful MIC teams did exactly what they were supposed to do—advance in
style. The real showdowns will begin at the regional level.
#1 North
Central and #4 Lawrence North finished 1-2 at the Lawrence Central Sectional.
The Panthers prevailed 144.5 to 129.5. Meanwhile Ben Davis, currently #9 in the
polls, easily won its own sectional. The Giants surpassed second place Pike 161
to 148. The three powerhouses will collide in the Ben Davis Regional. Here are
the individual results from the two sectionals.
